Dinner

Tonight me and my mom made dinner for my grandpa and some of my family so my grandpa doesn't feel alone. Because my grandpa feels lonely because my grandma took off to Texas yesterday for her mothers funeral.

RIP

Well yesterday my great grandma passed away in her sleep. My grandma already flew out to Texas. I miss my grandma . RIP Great Grandma Mary 😞

Struggles

Day by day 

And night by night 

Teardrops constantly fall 

But heart keeps beating 

And my mind keeps slowing 

I need help 

School on my mind 

Family on my back 

Boyfriend on the side 

Dog in the grave 

Life is falling apart 

I need help 

Change

I am who I am 

But one thing can ruin it all 

You think you can break me 

But you are wrong 

I will stay strong 

Til the end and infinity 

More and more people 

Try to tear me down 

But I will just get back up  

My heritage

My heritage is not just an ordinary Mexican lifestyle. My dads side is more of the Mexican style but my moms side isn't . My mothers side is more white-washed than other Mexicans . We don't speak Spanish all the time and we don't participate is traditional Mexican holidays.   We eat American foods more than we eat Mexican dishes . 

On my fathers side , we do more Mexican activities such as make tamales and other popular dishes. Also, we go to many Mexican gatherings such as quinces and Catholic activities. My dad hangs out more with our culture than my mom. My grandma on my dads side makes more Mexican food and speaks mostly Spanish unlike my other grandma.

Helping students

My experience with helping out the special ed students was actually really fun & I enjoyed it a lot . I never thought working with them would've been so much fun . I can't wait for the next time (:
